1. Confirm that the air chamber push rod is fully retracted; the air brake releases the spring brake. If compressed air cannot be provided to release the spring brake, it must be manually adjusted and released.

Installation steps two of the auto-adjusting arm of the front axle brake of the automobile
1. Install the automatic gap adjustment arm on the camshaft, and ensure that the adjusting hexagon nut is in the opposite direction of the air chamber.
2. Ensure that the automatic gap adjustment arm is fixed on the camshaft. Use at least one inner liner and enough outer liner to ensure that the movement space of the adjusting arm in the axial direction is between 0.5-2mm.
3. Turn the adjusting nut clockwise to make the U-shaped fork hole of the push rod and the hole on the adjusting arm rocker aligned naturally, and then insert the connecting pin. It is not possible to pull out the air chamber push rod to adapt to the installation of the adjusting arm.
Installation steps three of the auto-adjusting arm of the front axle brake of the automobile
1. Rotate the control arm away from the adjusting nut until it reaches the initial position set by the control arm;
2. When the brake is completely released, the first-generation adjusting arm installation indicator must be pushed into the installation indicating notch; the second-generation self-adjusting arm can be installed in a natural state;
3. If the control arm is installed incorrectly, the brake clearance will be too small.
Check whether the free stroke of the automatic adjustment arm meets the requirements, if it is not greater than 1/3 of the total stroke of the air chamber, it is qualified. Rotate the auto-adjusting arm housing until you feel a lot of resistance, and measure whether the extension stroke of the brake air chamber push rod is less than or equal to 1/3 of the total brake air chamber stroke. If it is greater than 1/3, the matching design needs to be rechecked.
